Recipe for Aloo Kachori
What is Kachori?
Kachori is a spicy deep-fried snack, originating from the India.

Aloo kachori is a fluffy flatbread that has tasty potato filling. This is popular North Indian dish.
What to serve with kachori?
Kachoris are often served with a chutney made from tamarind, mint, or coriander. It can also be served with ketchup or sauce of your choice.How to make Aloo Kachori
Ingredients
For Aloo stuffing:
- Boiled mashed potatoes
 - crushed Saunf (Fennel seeds)
 - Crushed garlic
 - Hing (Asafetida)
 - Turmeric powder
 - Salt
 - Red Chili Powder
 - Chopped Cilantro
 - Coriander powder
 - Garam masala
 
Mix all above  ingredients  and keep aside  . This is our stuffing .
Instructions :
For the Kachori dough
1) Mix whole wheat flour  and a spoon of  oil or ghee, salt and lukewarm  water and make a dough
2) Roll a small ball of the dough, add the stuffing ( not too much) and roll it out again making sure the stuffing does not pop out .
3) Fry them till golden. Here in USA I use Costco brand Kirkland Canola Oil which is best for deep frying.
