What is a ladoo?
Ladoo is a sphere-shaped sweet originating from the Indian subcontinent. Laddus are primarily made from flour, ghee/butter ,sugar. Ingredients used may vary by which type of ladoo you making.
For example for making coconut ladoo you will use coconut and milk. For making besan ladoo you will use besan(gram flour) and ghee and so on.
Laddus are often served during festive or religious occasions.
How to Sweeten Oats ladoo Without using Sugar?
There are many ways like by using fruits and berries, nut and seed butters, syrups and nectars, some artificial sweeteners, and protein powders. In my recipe I have used honey.
How to make healthy Oats Ladoo
Ingredients
* Oats-2 cups
* Almonds -1cup
* Peanut butter -1/2 cup
* Honey-1/3 cup honey
* Cardamom powder to taste
Instructions
1) Dry roast the oats on medium to low heat for 3 to 4 minutes, it will change its color to a little light brown color then transfer it to blender and grind it coarsely.
2) Then next dry roast the almonds and coarse grind it.
3) Take the pan add everything together and cook on low flame for one more minute. Add honey, peanut butter, cardamom powder and mix all properly.
4) Turn off the heat, let it cool a little bit , then make ladoo, while it’s still warm.
