Absolutely yes  you can always use frozen bananas from your  freezer! So never trash your over ripened bananas because you can make  tasty muffins out of them.

While making banana muffins You can try substituting by half for what the recipe calls. For example, if the recipe calls for two cups flour, try one cup of all-purpose flour and one cup of whole-wheat flour.

How to make moist and healthy banana muffins



INGREDIENTS FOR BANANA MUFFINS

  • Banana – 2
  • All purpose flour – 3/4 cup
  • Walnut, chopped – 1/4 cup
  • Granulated Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Oil – 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING BANANA MUFFINS

In a large bowl, mash bananas with a fork. Add sugar, oil, and vanilla; mix until well combined.

Add flour, baking soda, baking powder in another bowl with a whisk.

Combine wet and dry mixture until just combined by pouring the banana mix in flour. Do not over-mix.

Now add the walnuts  to it and mix gently. Reserve some for sprinkling on the top.

Line the muffin tray with paper liners Or grease the Tray with Butter and Spoon the batter in muffin liners till  3/4 th of it. Top it  with some walnut sprinkled over it.

Bake for  20 to 25  minutes  at 375 F or until the toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. When done take it out  and  allow the muffins to cool for 5 minutes in the muffin pan and enjoy while still warm.
